THE TEAM

Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our team of high school and university students are the backbone of Route 3a Beirut. Their creative ideas and motivation to make a change help shape the direction and mission of our initiative. Read on to learn more about some of our incredible team members.

CAITLIN BROEDERS

Caitlin is one of our co-founders! While living abroad Caitlin was embraced by a large Lebanese community, which has motivated her to give back. She has experience leading humanitarian aid initiatives and is passionate about tackling global challenges.

SARAH ABOUL HOSN

Sarah is one of our co-founders! Lebanon is her home, which motivated her to give back to the beautiful country that was once full of laughter, and happiness. Her personal connection and experience in event and sponsorship management will guide the team towards our goal.

FENNA MILBAUER

Fenna focuses her efforts on creating the content for our awareness campaign. Her passion for human-centered storytelling, interest in world politics, and experiences working in management positions greatly strengthens the team.

MAXIME DE WIT

With his international background and understanding of people from around the world, Maxime is able to lead the initiative’s stakeholder management. He has experience organizing events and supporting numerous campaigns, making him invaluable to the team.

LAUREN BOUMA

Lauren works in close collaboration with Fenna on our awareness campaign. She has experience working on political campaigns and is passionate about international politics and human rights. Her creativity, curiosity, and experience bring a positive perspective to the team.

KOEN WIJNEN

Koen is our filmmaker and will develop the Route 3a Beirut documentary series. His experience capturing hidden truths and passion to not only exemplify, but shed a light on individuals will greatly influence our mission to share the story of the Lebanese community.

RAIRA FRÓES

Raira is our fundraising coordinator and guides our volunteers in organizing and planning fundraising activities. She has extensive experience running both online and physical activities and campaigns, and she brings enthusiasm and creativity to the team.
